 Age of Stupid (12A)

The Age of Stupid is a must-see film - Pete Postlethwaite stars as a man living alone in the devastated world of 2055, compiling archive footage from 2008 and asking “Why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance?”.

Following our sell out screening on 15th May we are showing the film again on Thursday 9th July at 8pm at the Memorial Hall. This will be free for anyone who came on the 15th May and experienced the unfortunate technical hitches, it will also be free for the under 21s.

Apparently 60% of the UK public don’t believe that global warming is being caused by mankind’s actions - compare this with only 1% of scientists! The facts have convinced the scientists, why not the public? If you are one of that 60% then you should definitely see this film.
