Sustainable Charlbury

Sustainable Charlbury is holding a public meeting to discuss proposed ideas to submit to the Low Carbon Communities Challenge which is an intititive of the Department for Energy and Climate Change. LCCC could provide the funding to:

• ensure that the new Spendlove development is built to Passivhaus standards (http://www.passivhaus.org.uk/);
• significantly reduce carbon emissions from our buildings through undertaking a series of whole house retrofits;
• explore ways to finance investment in eco-renovation or energy efficiency measures.

This is an open meeting for anyone who is interested in contributing to, or getting involved in the project.

Interested in how much carbon you emit?  Come along and join in.  We monitor our carbon emissions through www.thecarbonaccount.com and meet regular to share information about the joys and challenges of low carbon living! All welcome.
